How long will it take to get my custom rug from the moment I order?
Orders are processed within 24 hours, and sent straight to our weavers who start making your custom piece right away. The whole process—from shearing, spinning, and dying the wool to weaving, washing, and transporting the rug—takes roughly 4 to 8 weeks. In the winter months, the drying process takes a bit longer, so please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery.
How much does shipping cost?
For shipments to the USA and to Europe, it’s on us! All of our prices include the cost of shipping.
For international orders, it depends on where you live. Shipping rates will populate during checkout.
Where can I find the sizes of the carpets?
Answer: We include the sizes of each carpet in the description next to each carpet on our website!
The rug I wanted is no longer available. When will it be back in stock?
Answer: Each rug is unique, so as soon as a rug is sold, we won’t have that exact rug in stock again. However, we might have similar designs available, so feel free to email us at hello@BerberianRugs.com to find out.
Do you ship to customers outside of the International?
Answer: Yes! Our flat international shipping rate is free for USA,CANADA,UNITED KINGDOM & EUROPE orders.
For the rest of the world maybe some dollars added at checkout.
What is your return policy?
Answer: we are able to accept returns, but All orders are final for customize rug and we cannot accept returns Please see our terms and conditions and refund policy for more information.
How do I know when my order has shipped?
As soon as your rug leaves Morocco, we’ll send you a tracking number to follow its journey across the world.
Are you able to offer scheduled delivery dates?
Answer: Yes!
Do you deliver on weekends?
Unfortunately, FedEx does not allow for weekend delivery.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: How much will I have to pay in tax and Duties?
If you are shipping within the USA, local sales tax will be charged where applicable. It is your responsibility as the customer to report any purchases of tangible personal property that have not been taxed by BERBERIANRUGS and pay use tax on those purchases unless exempt under local State law. As for Duties, they do not apply to for shipments to the USA.
Outside the USA, ALL destinations are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means that all relevant import taxes and duties are not included in your final purchase price. You will instead be invoiced by our shipping partner, FedEx or DHL, and be liable for all charges applied to your order.
How often should I clean my rug?
Try to avoid using a rotary vacuum, as that can wear down the fibers of the rug. Instead, use the suction attachment, vacuuming side-to-side instead of fringe-to-fringe in order to avoid destroying the fringe finish. A good way to know when your rug needs to be professionally cleaned is by beating a section of the rug. If you see dust clouds, it’s time to get your rug professionally cleaned. This will typically be every three to five years.
